Asia Institute Seminar about Contemporary Korea (April 15, 2012)

We held the first of a new series of focused seminars on eight challenges facing Korea today with a discussion of Korea’s current social and economic conditions. The program, run in cooperation with Tasan Books and GCS, will continue over the next six months.

Attending this seminar were

Charles Cho, Secretary General of Global Common Society, Annabel Park, film director, John Eperjesi, professor of English at Kyung Hee University, Jack Barton journalist and author, Lara Tosh, Director at Korea 4 Expats, and Emanuel Pastreich, director of the Asia Institute

The seminar focused on issues in education and included a detailed comparison of Singapore and Seoul.

Annabel Park addresses the seminar about political issues in Korea and the United States.
