“#Metoo運動全球遍地開花　男人卻說⋯⋯我真的怕了”

 

“現居韓國首爾的美國學者貝一明（Emanuel Pastreich）解釋了這活動的效應。他表示，#Metoo就像遍地開花的炮火，一瞬間就消失了，「它被拿來操作成『終結某某人的政治或演藝前途』的工具，如今我們沒看到南韓當局對安熙正案展開調查」。

貝一明強調，#Metoo行動甚至沒有強調南韓女性在職場上的實際困境，它描繪的好像是性騷擾只會出現在壞人身上，而非腐敗的系統，因此首當其衝地就是有威望的名人。「#Metoo為女性帶來什麼實質影響？我認為沒有」”
