Circles and Squares

This speech was delivered on August 25, 2020, the 75th anniversary of the end of the Pacific War, in Seoul. Emanuel Pastreich, as candidate, addresses the original significance of that event and discusses how the alliance has been distorted over the last 70 years. Specifically, he notes that the alliance began at the 1941 Moscow Conference as an alliance against Fascism and that that should be the goal today as well.
