Although ten years have passed since the Daiichi Fukushima Nuclear Power plant started to release massive amounts of radiation into the environment, Japanese have become oddly accustomed to this disaster which promises to continue for thousands of years. Emanuel Pastreich, president of the Asia Institute, and Kawanaka Yo, researcher at the Asia Institute, discuss what happened at the time of the accident and the current state of Japanese society in the aftermath.
